Lefties may hate Walmart, but I love buying candy and ammo there

I love Walmart. I remember one time I was checking out of Walmart and I had peanut butter cups and eye contact solution and ammo, and the checker was giving me a strange look because I was buying ammo and wearing a sundress. And I thought to myself, “How great that I live in a country where I can buy my candy and my ammo in the same store.”

Not so great, apparently, for lefty protesters like the ones who showed up in Avon, Colo., last month to protest the Koch brothers meeting of free-market movers. The protest was organized by ProgressNow and Common Cause. I previously posted the ridiculous video of the woman who tried to block my camera.

Now here’s some hilarious footage of chanting and singing by protesters (with commentary by yours truly). I transcribed the lyrics about Walmart because it’s such a sad view into the pinched, union-skewed thinking of the left. Here’s my take: If you hate Walmart so much, don’t shop there.

Found a Walmart,
Found a Walmart,
Found a Walmart in my town,
Where there used to be a meadow, and a river, and a farm

Found our main street,
Found our main street,
Boarded up and gone to hell,
All the townsfolk shop at Walmart, now we got no local stores

Found a pink slip,
Found a pink slip,
In my paycheck yesterday,
‘Cause my boss says “out of business” when the Walmart opened up

Found a new job,
Found a new job,
At the Walmart in my town,
Though I work more and get paid less, I will get a discount now

Found my neighbors,
Found my neighbors,
On the unemployment line,
Walmart said they couldn’t use them ’cause they’ve all been unionized

Found a Walmart,
Found a Walmart,
Where our town’s life used to be
Now we have no past or future
But we have cheap clothes and food
