Kids say the darndest things: “You’re greedy. No offense”

The Media Research Center found a video gem from a Good Morning America segment in which a young girl discusses her intention to someday become president of the United States.

Her economic platform may sound familiar…

“Why should I vote for you?” prodded Chris Cuomo of ABC News.

“I would, like, ask some of the rich people to give some of the money to the government. And ask the government to give [to] the people who really need the money,” the girl replied.

“O.K., I represent the rich people now,” said Cuomo, digging in. “I don’t want to give any more money.”

“Well, then, you’re greedy,” said the girl.

“I’m greedy?” asked Cuomo.

“No offense,” said the girl.

Is this funny? Or simply sad?
